We are now looking for a student coordinator for Hässleholm Montessori School F-9.

Hässleholm Montessori School is a primary school F-9 with 300 students and an attached after-school program. The school teaches according to Maria Montessori's pedagogy and methods. With us, you will have an exciting and important mission!

The role includes working with students in primary school. Your tasks include supporting students in their studies and social development as well as guidance and motivational work for a positive school day. Your main task is to support students in their learning and personal development in a promoting, preventive, and remedial manner. You will collaborate with educators and other school staff to find the best way forward for the students.

As a student coordinator, you also collaborate with guardians as well as authorities and other schools as important resources for students' development. You work to strengthen students' motivation, learning, and development. Furthermore, you provide individual students with support to manage being in a group and work preventively and promote students' attendance at school.

You will work with students who have difficulties with transitions, social interactions, self-regulation, and demanding situations, which affect both learning and attendance.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree for the position, such as in pedagogy, health, or behavioral science, or a university education deemed equivalent. We prefer that you have competence in neuropsychiatric disabilities to support a student in benefiting from the education and having a safe and functioning day in both school and after-school care.

We are looking for someone who easily creates and maintains relationships and enjoys working innovatively in a team, where different competencies collaborate to solve the common mission as effectively as possible. We will place great emphasis on your personal suitability for the role.

Hässleholm Montessori School is a municipal primary school with grades F-9 and an after-school program. Approximately 300 students attend the school. We work largely in mixed-age groups. The school is located in central Hässleholm with good train and bus connections.
